Native Fibers

Meghan comes to us from Charlotte, NC.

The name Native Fibers comes from my American Indian Heritage. I am a decedent of the Karuk Tribe of Northern California. So I chose the name to pay homage to my father and his family.

I love art. In all its many forms. I am a creative soul. I am never happier than when I am out in the studio creating. Color has the ability to set a mood. It is a means of expression. I have this passion for creating and dying yarn feeds my passion and my desire to create something unique and beautiful. I hope that you will find something here that does the same for you.

KnittinBro

Douglas from Pennsylvania is known for magnificent color and vibrant saturation.

He started to experiment with yarn dyeing simply because he felt like there weren’t that many dyers that focus mainly on male knitters.

When he visited yarn stores, he always see knitters concerned with hand dyed yarn. They wish they could knit something for their husband, boyfriend or male relative but the yarn is not “manly” or “it’s too bright, he wont wear that!”

And that’s how KnittinBro Yarns was born.

FXBG Fibers

Laura is from the Richmond, VA area.  She is new to the Indie circuit and off to a playful and dynamic start.  The Indie Dyer Extravaganza is her first big show.  Come on in and show her lots of love.  You will enjoy her fun spirit and contagious smile.  Her yarns are as happy as she is.  Featuring Sophia St. Fingering, 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon and William St. DK 100% SW Merino.

Knerd String Yarns
