Join us for the second annual Indie Dyer Extravaganza.

Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 10-6

See the wonderful works of The Fiberists, Bad Wolf Girl and our local Freckles Plus Fiber.  Returning by popular demand is Kim Dyes Yarn.  We will also have a fantastic Trunk Show from Three Irish Girls.

The Fiberists join us from Northern Virginia.  They are dyers of colorful yarns.  They approach the creation of our products with a research based process. They get our inspiration from the work of influential naturalists and scientists and their discoveries of colors, forms, and structures.  It is their mission to be constantly developing new colorways and techniques based on the natural world around them. Their explorations and experiments inspire them to bring you intriguing colors and patterns. In addition to developing their spectrum, they focus on learning and exploring the entire process of fiber crafting, from animal to finished products.

Bad Wolf Girl is from Maryland, has a popular Podcast and loves to play with yarn and color.  With themes from pop culture you wont want to miss Dumbledore, Pin Up Zombies and Leaky Cauldron.  Variegated, tonal, speckled, Meghan has it all!

Kim Dyes Yarn sold out last year.  Her spectacular colors and playful hand will take center stage again.  Kim will have some roving, lots of yarns and fabulous finds.   All of her yarns and spinning fibers are dyed by hand with love and care.  She is crazy about gorgeous color and knows you are, too.

Yarn Habits is new to the Indie-Dyer world but not to yarn.  She is yarn obsessed and knows exactly what other fiber fanatics are looking for.  Big Army by day, family by night and she still has time to whip up beautiful yarns.  Speckles, tonals and OOAK is her specialty.

Freckles Plus Fiber is new on the indie scene.  They are experimenting on new bases with fun dyes and colors.  It is their personal quests to delight each knitter and fiber lover.  As fiber addicts themselves, they are excited to be part of our big event.  Their favorite is playing with new tonals and speckles that match their freckles.

Three Irish Girls has promised a trunk show of yarns and garments that will knock our socks off.  I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

We will be opening up two extra registers to help the lines move better this year.  The shop will be overrun by new artists and lots of yarn.  Save the date and don’t be late!
