ChiaoGoo Interchangeable Cords & Accessories
TWIST cables are memory-free! They consist of a multi-strand, steel cable coated with red nylon. The cords when attached to the needles make up the actual length. For example; the 14″ (35 cm) length will make a 24″ (60 cm) circular when 5″ (13 cm) tips are attached. Lifeline holes can be found at each end of these cables. Insert the T-shaped tightening key into the lifeline hole to assist with securing your tip/cable connection. SPIN tips will work with TWIST cables. Available in Small [S], Large [L] and MINI diameters.
SPIN cables allow your tips to swivel freely! They are made of a pliable, clear nylon. TWIST tips will work with SPIN cables. Available in both small [S] and large [L].
Connectors. “Tic tac” sized pieces allow you to join two or more cables together. [S] coded connectors fit onto all [S] coded cables. [L] coded connectors fit onto all [L] coded cables. MINI connectors (Item #2501-M) only work with the MINI cables and tips.
Interchangeable Adapter. Made of stainless steel this adapter will allow you to go from an [S] interchangeable TWIST/SPIN tip to a MINI interchangeable TWIST cable. We also have an adapter to go from an [L] interchangeable TWIST/SPIN tip to an [S] interchangeable TWIST/SPIN cable.
Tool keys are for tightening your needles to the cords. You must tighten your connection when attaching the needles to the cords. Failure to tighten could result in needle separation while knitting.
