Learn to Crochet Class Taught by Steve Carranza
In this class you will learn the basics of how to crochet and how to read a pattern to make a hat. This class is designed for COMPLETE beginners who have never crocheted before and want to learn. Students with little experience are also welcome to join and will be challenged to keep things interesting. If students do not wish to make a beanie, Steve can help modify instructions for students to make a cowl (Note: a cowl may take more yarn than listed below).
This is an adult class for students ages 12 and up.
Materials needed to purchase are:
- 1 or 2 skeins of Malabrigo Chunky, Vientos, or Noventa.
- A 6.5mm Crochet hook(Etimo Tulip Red hooks recommended! They are available at Yarn Club).
- locking stitch markers.
Please purchase materials 24-48 hours before class from the Yarn Club. (please, no outside yarns).
